UK Download Top 20

It seems my efforts to promote the new exclusive by Keane, a rather slick cover of 'The Sun Ain't Gonna Shine Anymore', have paid off, to some extent. They are a new entry in the UK Official Download Chart at number 9.

This would be very pleasing, except it isn't the 'bestselling' newbie of the week. What is, is a bit of a surprise. Razorlight are this week's highest new entry, at 3, with 'Golden Touch'. Now, I have nothing against 'Golden Touch' and think it's particularly good. Arguably one of my singles of the year. However, I wanted Keane to 'win', damnit!

Miss Natasha Bedingfield still sits firmly on the top spot with 'These Words', showing no real sign of budging and Maroon 5 show their online popularity by still having two singles in the top 10.

Other new entries come from REM, at 10, with 'Leaving New York' and Joss Stone, at 17, with 'You Had Me', which is also out on CD format this week. Also creeping into the top 20 at 19 is Duran Duran.
